WINNING FOR CHARITY
The football season is over for another year and so our fantasy football Super Liga comes to a close.
Having won the first and third quarters, Dan (#GorBlimey) showed incredible consistency and looked almost untouchable from the start. Our Senior Designer Matt Child (Who Ate All Depays) seemed to have a late plan but it wasn’t quite enough and he had to settle for second place. Third was taken by Neil Rule (Bentleys Blues) who had a blistering run in which won him the final quarter and £50 for his charity of choice.

Dan is splitting his £200 overall and £50 quarter 3 prizes between three charities local to him. The first is the Hastings Sanctuary Service, part of Turning Point. This excellent service offers support to people experiencing mental health crises. The second is the Kipling ward of Conquest hospital in East Sussex who do amazing work looking after children who need specialist care. The third is the Hastings Lifeboat of the RNLI who help keep people safe on the coast.
Neil has decided to donate his £50 to the Alzheimer’s Society. Alzheimer’s disease is one of the most common causes of dementia and the Alzheimer’s Society provides invaluable support to those who have been affected throughout the UK.
Also, a big well done to the 4 quarterly winners who each won £50 for their chosen charities:
Q1: Dan Gorham (#GorBlimey)
Q2: Adrian Page (Granade)
Q3: Dan Gorham (#GorBlimey)
Q4: Neil Rule (Bentleys Blues)
Thanks to everyone for playing this year. We hope you’ll join us again next season.
